The Greek lottery firm, Intralot, has revealed the introduction of its content management system (CMS), known as Intralot Canvas, for its long-standing partner, the Taiwan Sports Lottery Corporation (TSLC).
This expanded agreement will enable TSLC to introduce a completely new sports wagering platform that will encompass esports betting markets.
Intralot Canvas will empower TSLC to construct an HTML5 betting portal that will provide tailored content and be optimized for all screen dimensions. This innovative CMS also incorporates integrated software tools for analytics, player engagement, and promotional activities.
Intralot will furnish esports betting powered by Sportradar data, commencing with the integration of the globally renowned esports title, League of Legends.
The anticipation is that additional games will be incorporated into the platform in the future.
TSLC President, Ted Lin, stated, “We are thrilled to successfully integrate the novel, multi-functional CMS, Intralot Canvas, which will facilitate our enhancement of operational efficiency and attainment of rapid time-to-market responsiveness.”
Moreover, introducing a fresh esports game in Taiwan will provide us with a chance to penetrate the rapidly expanding esports wagering market and broaden our reach by engaging players from diverse demographics.
The COVID-19 outbreak resulted in the postponement of traditional sporting events, and esports enthusiasm is thought to have surged considerably since pre-pandemic levels, driven by well-known titles like League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Dota 2.
