DraftKings has appointed Jennifer Aguiar as their new Chief Compliance Officer. Tim Dent, a senior executive at DraftKings, is departing the company to assume an advisory position.
Aguiar will be in charge of ensuring DraftKings adheres to all regulations and rules governing daily fantasy sports, sports wagering, and online gaming in the United States and internationally.
DraftKings CEO Jason Robbins stated that Aguiar has been a crucial contributor to the company’s success, guiding them through the expansion of daily fantasy sports and securing licenses in various states. He mentioned that Aguiar’s efforts facilitated DraftKings’ rapid expansion into new states following the legalization of sports betting and online gambling.
Aguiar joined DraftKings in 2016 and meticulously constructed their compliance program from the ground up.
